LANDSCAPES OF MEMORY set to Int’l Premiere at Sheffield DocFest

Leah Galant’s moving and urgent film LANDSCAPES OF MEMORY will have its International Premiere at Sheffield DocFest on June 11th!

The film follows Leah’s journey through Germany as she reckons with family trauma and the weight Holocaust remembrance. Interwoven stories of a Holocaust-survivor descendant, a Nazi-descendant historian, exiled Palestinian artists, and her father’s ALS, reveal the uses and abuses of memory culture.

LANDSCAPES OF MEMORY premiered at True/False in March to an incredible reception from audiences and critics alike, and has been acquired by Watermelon Pictures, the perfect partner for this film.

Leah will be at Sheffield DocFest to present the film for its screenings on June 11, 13 and 14. If you’ll be there, let me know!
