LANDSCAPES OF MEMORY acquired by Watermelon Pictures

We’re so honored to have Leah Galant’s LANDSCAPES OF MEMORY picked up by the visionary and fearless Watermelon Pictures

LANDSCAPES OF MEMORY follows Leah Galant’s journey through Germany as she reckons with family trauma and the weight Holocaust remembrance. Interwoven stories of a Holocaust-survivor descendant, a Nazi-descendant historian, exiled Palestinian artists, and her father’s ALS, reveal the uses and abuses of memory culture.

We couldn’t ask for a better partner than Watermelon Pictures, whose recent film The Voice of Hind Rajab just went to the Oscars, and who is releasing some of the boldest, most thoughtful films today.

The news came out just ahead of our incredible premiere at True/False Film Festival, where we had packed screenings with deeply engaged Q&As with our team and participant Elias Mendel, and great reviews, including from Awards WatchCollider, and RogerEbert.com

Keep an eye out for more screenings soon! Follow @landscapesofmemoryfilm on Instagram for updates.
