Emilia Mello’s sophomore doc awarded IDA Pare Lorentz grant

I am so grateful that Emilia Mello’s current project has received the prestigious IDA Pare Lorentz Documentary Fund grant, dedicated to the creation of independent documentary films that illuminate urgent issues.

This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Sundance Documentary Producers Lab with Emilia’s film, which was such a rejuvenating, humbling and transformative experience. This support from IDA and Sundance means so much - and has been crucial to providing the resources and support to make this documentary.
